Ravens acquire Anquan Boldin
It’s official, the Baltimore Ravens have traded for Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin. The Ravens sent a third- and fourth-round pick to the Cardinals in exchange for Boldin and a fifth rounder.
“Done deal: Arizona trades WR Anquan Boldin and a 2010 fifth-round pick to Baltimore for Ravens 2010 third- and fourth-round picks,” tweets Adam Schefter.
The trade works out for everyone. The Cardinals get to avoid paying a player actual money (they hate that) and can just slide Steve Breaston into the starting role opposite Larry Fitzgerald. The Ravens get a high-end WR to help out Joe Flacco and didn’t have to give up a second-round pick or more.
