Peppers excited about Bears’ rich tradition…yeah right
Brand-spanking new Chicago Bears defensive end Julius Peppers says he is very excited about joining a team with so much tradition. We’re sure that he’s uber pumped already looked up the history and is soaking up everything he can about the Decatur Staleys, George Halas and Brian Piccolo. In our view, tradition is much more important to him than the $42 million in guarantees he just got.

“Getting to come to a place with the deep-rooted tradition in winning is a great thing for me. It’s a wonderful thing,” Peppers said Friday.

That Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans would also have excellent tradition if they opened their wallets like the Bears did.
