Dodgers’ Martin to miss 4-6 weeks
According to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Joe Torre, catcher Russell Martin will mist 4-6 weeks with an injured groin.
“Torre: Martin out 4-6 wks. Will probably miss opening day,” tweets Dylan Hernandez (we don’t know who that is).
A.J. Ellis has been brought in to Dodgers spring training to replace Martin for the time being. This isn’t a huge deal at this point, but it could be a problem if it lingers.
