Parker could miss up to six weeks
San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker left Saturday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a broken bone in his hand. During a scramble for the ball, Parker busted the fourth metacarpal in his right hand.
“I knew it was a scrum,” teammate Tim Duncan said. “He said he reached for the ball, and hit the ball or hit a body or a hand or something.”

A Spurs spokesman confirmed that the hand is broken, but couldn’t say how long he would be out for. Head coach Gregg Popovich went ahead and did that for him.
“He’s got a broken hand. He’ll be out six weeks,” Popovich said. “He did it in the first half when he dove on the floor.”
Parker is the teams second-leading scorer with 16.6 points per game. San Antonio currently holds the 7th seed in the Western Conference.
