Eagles lock up Avant
The Philadelphia Eagles will have a 2 PM press conference on Monday to announce the signing of restricted free agent WR Jason Avant to a new five-year contract. Avant had a career-high 41 catches for three TD’s in 2009 and has quickly become one of the team’s favorite third-down targets.
Avant was a fourth-round pick in 2006 and would an elite wide receiver in the NFL if he had any kind of speed. His size, brains, route running and hands are all at the top level. It’s just that he doesn’t have that burst or top-end speed.
That’s ok, Jason. Eagles fans love you anyway. We aren’t very fast either if it makes you feel any better.

Could I make a suggestion? I feel youve got something very good here. But what if you added a couple links to some page that backs up what you are saying? Or maybe you could give us anything to look at, some thing that would connect what youre saying to something tangible? Just a proposition.
