New information on Tiger’s Thanksiving joy ride
The Orlando Sentinel did some research and found some new evidence in Tiger Woods’ little Thanksgiving mishap. While everyone claims to not care about his case at all, tons of people seem to care. So here are some new things we’ve learned.
-The Florida Highway patrol attempted to get Tiger’s medical records the day after the crash. They were told that it was Friday and that the records department was closed. Okay, so they tried on Monday to do the same thing. They were then told that the computerized filing system was down. Then the hospital told them that they wouldn’t hand over the medical records without a warrant, which was never issued. Sounds to us like they lied the first two times to stall, but we’re sure they do that for everyone regardless of how internationally famous you are.
-Police tried to get video surveillance footage from Tiger Woods’ home. But, his lawyer kept telling them that he didn’t know how to access the video system. Apparently no one on the planet knows how to do it because no video evidence was ever turned over.
-On the night of the crash, Elin showed responding EMT’s two bottles of Vicatin that Tiger had taken earlier in the day. Didn’t we hear about that already?
-After the accident, Elin drove to the scene of the accident in a golf cart, even though it was only 150 feet away. Maybe that’s why she used the nine iron? Should have used a wedge?
-When troopers showed up after the crash, Elin told them that Tiger was sleeping and that she wouldn’t answer any questions without her husband present. She then just turned and walked away, leaving the police standing by themselves in their mansion. That seems appropriate.
So yeah, this is about all the information we have right now. This is odd to say the least. We can’t wait for Elin’s book to find out all the details.
Tiger said that Elin deserves praise not blame and that there has never been an incident of domestic violence between them, ever. So why is people always trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill? The media should stop using Tiger Woods and his family for high ratings and sales. Tiger is trying to put his life back together and he has a right to do so. Tiger wants to save his marriage and family, let him do it! Get off their back!!!

I don’t care for or against Tiger Woods or for his skill (placing a ball into a hole – “un trou de balle” en Français (!) but this American concept of apologetic laundry performed in public through “confession” and likely absolution reeks of something called superstition. It is as if apology were supposed to wipe out all misdeeds, in other words to cancel the past and culprits could start again with a new virginity. So we see the present Pope, previously Grand Inquisitor, apologizing for the Inquisition and also for the church mistreatment of women through the ages – thousands of them burned as witches (far more than men prosecuted for the same thing). It’s a good thing Hitler is dead. If alive, he might be “apologizing” for Auschwitz and other such places. Following which some characters would conclude that it’s all over, we should forget it and everybody “gotta move on.”

The Republicans are finally getting the big government spending on immigration that they wanted from Bush. Bush was all about borrowing and spending BIG but, only if the money was leaving the US for Iraq or going to US war profiteers. That and the loosey goosey mortgage giveaways to the financial industry for he Bush program “The Ownership Society”

I wholly go along with the previously mentioned comment, the net is certainly growing into a vey important channel of conversation across the globe and it is as a result of sites like this that concepts are spreading so quickly.
