Haynesworth will show up to offseason conditioning program

AlbertHaynesworth 198x300 Haynesworth will show up to offseason conditioning programThere have been several reports that Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth won’t show up for the team’s offseason conditioning program as a way to protest the team’s move to the 3-4 scheme. Well, multiple sources tell the Washington Post’s Jason Reid that Haynesworth won’t skip out.

Supposedly, Haynesworth has no interest in being the nose tackle in the 3-4. It’s the crux of this defense and you don’t have an effective nose tackle, you ain’t running the 3-4. Haynesworth is by far the team’s best defensive lineman and would be the best person to anchor the new defense.

But according to team sources, he isn’t going to be a classic, full-time NT anyway. Jim Haslett plans on moving him around in different hybrid formations. So…relax.

But one thing we do know about Albert, is that he’s not afraid to be a problem. We wouldn’t be completely shocked if he protested or put up a stink. What he needs to realize that he is getting paid ass tons of money and that if they ask him to kick field goals he should shut up and do it.

But for now it looks like he’ll at least attempt to be a good soldier. If he wants to complain about the new system, he should think about the streamlined system they had going with the last coaching regime. Shut up and be thankful that it appears the team is heading in a new direction.

EXACTLY, you're getting paid millions to play a kids game. Shut the hell up and do what you are asked to do!

Fine him 1/4 season salary and move on. If he whines more, dock 1/2 salary. Make him physically give it to a charity that actually appreciates the insane amount of money.
