No need for DNA from Roethlisberger

ben roethlisberger 300x205 No need for DNA from RoethlisbergerSources tell ESPN.com that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has withdrawn its request for a DNA sample from Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. No reason was given for why they don’t want it now, and we have no idea if that’s a good thing or a bad thing for Big Ben. We’d have to think it’s good, but we know as much about law as we do about salt water fishing, and we can assure you that we don’t know a lot about salt water fishing.

In case you hadn’t heard, our pal Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of rape again. This time a criminal complaint was filed by a 20-year old Georgia woman who claims that she was sexually assaulted in a Milledgeville, GA nightclub.

The investigation is still ongoing and investigators don’t have a timetable right now of if and when Roethlisberger will be charged with any crimes (like, for example, rape). Regardless of what happens though, it’s clear that just about everyone within the 412 area code is disappointed with their local QB.
