Kazmir scratched from start due to shoulder tightness

Good news, Angels fans! According to Victor Rojas, Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim of Southern California of the United States of America pitcher Scott Kazmir missed a start on Thursday with shoulder tightness.

“Scott Kazmir has been scratched from today’s start…tightness in shoulder. Starter today tba #angels #MLB,” Rojas tweets.

This isn’t good for a guy that’s always banged up. Kazmir has a world of talent (and we still never understood how the New York Mets put him in a deal for Victor Zambrano), but is oft injured. This isn’t good for him to be getting nicked up already.

And all this comes just two days after Ervin Santana was scratched from his latest start. Santana is coming off a year that he was injured, but his injury isn’t thought to be very serious.

There were rumors that Kazmir would be included in a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for Donovan McNabb, but the Eagles are unlikely to trade for damaged goods.
