Schefter on Raiders: “clear cut favorite” to land McNabb
NFL fans shouldn’t really believe any rumors until the words “Adam Schefter” or “Jay Glazer” are involved. Well, “Matt Jones” and “snorting coke” are also very trustworthy words. With that said, the latest Donovan McNabb rumors are finally legit.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on NFL Live Monday that the Raiders are the “clear cut favorite” to land Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb.
Per Schefter, the Raiders are reportedly not worried about Philadelphia’s asking price or the fact McNabb is only signed for one more year. If McNabb landed in Oakland, the Raiders could potentially retain his rights in 2011 with the franchise tag.
An OTR insider reported that JaMarcus Russell guest starred on Man vs Food in a bagel and cream cheese eating contest over the weekend. This news could have sparked Oakland’s interest in McNabb just a little more.

What does Matt Jones have to do with this? What an incredibly cheap shot. The guy did the same thing a million college students have done. Alot of them now Congressman, Lawyers, Judges, Governors and, I'm fairly certain, at least one President.
It was stupid. He got caught and paid his price. But for the 'talking heads' like yourself to throw his name around like a habitual drug offender, it pure ignorance. As a 'professional' writer (hack?), you should be more ashamed of your actions than you expect Matt Jones to be of his.
