Heyward gets game-winning hit to sink Rockies

The legend of Jason Heyward is continuing to grow. The Atlanta Braves outfielder was up in the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday with two outs against the Rockies with his team down a run. He was facing tough lefty Frankline Morales who just smoked a fastball on the edge of the plate to even the count.
So what does Heyward do? Smacked the same pitch when Morales tried it twice and sent a grounder into the outfield. Two runs scored and the Braves beat the Rockies 4-3.
The kid already has 15 RBI’s this season and is showing extremely mature patience at the plate. There was a lot of hype surrounding Heyward’s ascent to the major leagues, but it seems like there was good reason for it.
