Blazers close to extension with Camby?

Sources tell ESPN.com that the Portland Trailblazers and F/C Marcus Camby are close to a contract extension that would keep the big man off of the free agent market this summer. Portland obviously likes the fit after they acquired him from the Los Angeles Clippers a few months ago.
One source tells Stein that it would be a two-year extension in the $21 million range, with $4 million in unlikely-to-be-earned incentives.
This would be a great move for the Trailblazers, who just took Game 1 105-100 against the Phoenix Suns in the playoffs. The Blazers are still hopeful that Greg Oden will eventually get and stay healthy, but it’s not a bad decision to CYA.
