Roethlisberger gets 4-6 game suspension
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger will be getting a 4-6 game suspension.
It’s a conditional suspension that will be dependent on Roethlisberger’s behavior and compliance with evaluators.
Supposedly, the Steelers were bracing for a possible eight-game suspension, so this is a bit of a relief. But this would explain yesterday’s trade for Byron Leftwich.
UPDATE: Adam Schefter reports the Steelers are shopping Ben to teams with top ten picks.
