Manny Ramirez hits the Mark Prior List

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder and generally swell guy Manny Ramirez is headed to the 15-day DL. That’s right, he will sit for two weeks on the Mark Prior List with a calf strain.

Xavier Paul may get a shot, but manager Joe Torre might also opt to platoon Garrett Anderson and Reed Johnson.

Ramirez left the sixth inning of last night’s game with a calf issue and he had an MRI on Friday. It’s too early to tell, but right now it seems like he’s going to live.
