Brad Lidge on pace to be activated from MPL (DL)

Philadelphia Phillies closer Brad Lidge who has been lights out lately in the minors is on pace to be activated from the Mark Prior List this Friday.

Tuesday night he pitched another scoreless two innings with four strikeouts and zero walks.  OTR understands that he is pitching very well against minor league competition, but it’s pretty much the same thing as pitching against the Atlanta Braves offense.

Lidge is recovering from offseason elbow surgery.  When he returns Brad plans on practicing celibacy, not blowing anything.
