Cardinals add Alan Faneca to their O-line
The Arizona Cardinals have signed recently let-go free agent Alan Faneca to a one-year, $2.5 million contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, and also according to the contract that was signed than forwarded to the NFL office.

Faneca has played in 190 NFL games and gives the Cardinals another option to an offensive line that keeps getting deeper and deeper. He spent most of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, collecting five All-Pro selections. The last two seasons he has dressed for the New York Jets, adding one more All-Pro selection to the resume in 2009.
The Cardinals offensive line is definitely turning into one of their strengths. Matt Leinart will have a decent amount of time to make decisions with solid protection. Unfortunately, that time will only prove how bad Leinart’s decision making really is.
Leinart has been learning behind Warner for quite a few years now. I think you all will be very shocked to see how he has grown and a player and a person. He was one of the best college players and with the weapons he has, I believe he will do very well.

Matt has spent the past two offseasons working very hard, moved back to Southern California as his primary residence, and has been working out with Tom Brady – who more closely matches his skill set. The greatest impact and possitive factor in Matt's life has been his son. I think people are going to see a skill that set him apart from other college players, excellent decision making on the field.
