Dwayne Bowe talks about groupies
Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe has showed flashes of incredible ability since coming into the league three years ago. He’s also shown the ability to be a Grade A chowderhead.
Recently, he told ESPN the Magazine about he and some of his teammates roll on road trips.
“My rookie year, we were playing in San Diego,” Bowe says. “You hear stories about groupies hanging out in hotel lobbies, but some of my teammates had it set up so there was a girl in every room. The older guys get on MySpace and Facebook a week before we go to a city; when a pretty one writes back, they arrange to fly her in three or four days in advance. They call it importing.”
Uh huh. Go on.
“Younger guys don’t have the money to do it,” Bowe continued. “Anyway, these girls had the whole top floor. They know everything about us — first and last names, sisters and brothers, salary. This one girl was talking to me like she’d known me for years. ‘Hey, D-Bowe, how’s Grandma?’ I’m like, ‘How do you know my grandma?’ She knew that I talk about her every time I’m interviewed for a story.
“I told her I had a girlfriend, but she didn’t care. She was wearing my jersey, sitting in my lap, making it look like we knew each other. Then she took a picture and put it on Facebook. That almost got me in trouble.”
So far, the Chiefs have not commented on Bowe’s story. But we’d have to think that this type of anecdote falls under the category of Things Players Aren’t Supposed To Tell the General Public.

I’m not sure why Tiger is apologizing to the world. He betrayed his beautiful wife and his loving children and he needs to answer to them. He probably cost his sponsors tens of millions of dollars but the rest of us just need to remember our own shortcommings and forget about Tiger.

Hello there,I’m a professional drummer and I’ve made a silly rule that permits me to take a 10 min time out after a single hour of training. Now, each break I’ve to do some thing completely different, so normally I go to Search engines and look for the recommended last hour weblog. It is enjoyable to do some thing different and to examine new stuff each and every day. Btw, now I’m playing. Vivaldi. Your website is fantastic, I wish I could stay for a longer time, however I need to get back to play… Next time I’ll drop by again.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I significantly prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you swiftly see connected albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of individuals will center on that item, and one more set of “neighbors” will occur into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can also be great enjoyable, letting you find other people with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created depending on an amalgamation of what all your buddies are listening to, which can also be enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will probably be relieved to know you can avoid the public from seeing your personal listening habits in case you so pick.
