Jimmy Rollins pulls up lame, exits game early
UPDATE: Rollins is listed as day-to-day, but don’t expect him to suit up so soon.
During Friday night’s game against the Bawston Red Sawx, Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins pulled up lame after hitting a single to right field in the sixth inning, appearing to aggravate his calf.

Rollins has already missed 30 games this season due to a calf injury that he suffered in the beginning of April. He’s had a great season so far when he has played, batting .341 with an on-base-percentage of .462.
Rollins was replaced by Juan Castro in the sixth as a pinch runner and then at shortstop in the seventh.
If the injury does land Rollins on the Mark Prior List, expect Shane Victorino to bounce back up to the lead-off roll.
