Reyes to undergo final thyroid test
New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes says that he feels fine after dealing a thyroid issue earlier this spring. While his play certainly doesn’t reflect him feeling all better, he says he’s good to go and will undergo one final test on his thyroid to make sure all is well.
If the test comes back and doesn’t show any abnormality, it will close the book on his thyroid (unless symptoms show up down the road, but I think that’s just common sense).
When asked about the tests, Reyes responded “That went away already.”
The Mets probably are looking to test him for anything they can to find out why he’s not very good at baseball anymore.
