The number one overall pick in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft by the Washington Nationals is scheduled to debut his right-handed stuff on June 8th against the ever-so dangerous Pittsburgh Pirates, according to GM Mike Rizzo.
Strasburg has dominated Double-A and Triple-A with a combined 50 1/3 innings, 60 strikeouts and a 1.43 ERA. Fortunately, the Pirates are very similar to a Double-A or Triple-A squad, so Strasburg should feel right at home.

It is amazing what his 100-mile an hour fastball and a full repertoire of pitches can do for ticket sales. I could not see him when he played the Mud Hens. But, I will definitely look for him in the majors.

Check out this write-up on the Pirates-Indians matchup. Paul Maholm vs. Fausto Carmona should be a interesting pitching battle.

I’m nonetheless pondering on the opposite issues of view, but I’m leaning to a very good extent toward yours. And irrespective, which is what’s so perfect about modern-day democracy and also the industry of ideas online.
