Charlie Manuel gets hit in the face with a baseball (video)
Philadelphia Phillies fans don’t know much about Charlie Manuel the baseball player. Mainly, because he really wasn’t good enough to play in MLB.
He spent most of his time in Japan, where he – among other things – got hit in the face with a baseball.
In this clip, he literally takes one on the chin. It’s 33 seconds in and absolutely had to sting like the dickens. This is maybe why he made a much better manager than a player.
