Strasburg stellar in MLB debut
We’ve waited a long time to see what this phenom could do. Stephen Strasburg, the No. 1-overall pick in the 2009 draft, finally stepped up the majors with the Washington Nationals and made his debut Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The result? Seven innings pitched while giving up just two earned runs.
Oh, and did we mention he fanned friggin’ 14 batters? Holy hell. 14? That’s a lot.
He gave up only four hits during his outing and one home run. And of course he picked up the win as well.
Sure, it’s the Pirates, but you can only play against the team in front of you. And 14 K’s isn’t a mistake. The Washington Nationals, who took Bryce Harper No 1-overall this week in the 2010 MLB draft, look like they might finally be putting a team together.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

The interface is colorful, has far more flair, and some cool functions like ‘Mixview’ that let you speedily see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also good enjoyable, letting you discover others with shared tastes and becoming buddies with them. You then can listen to a playlist produced depending on an amalgamation of what all your good friends are listening to, which can be enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy is going to be relieved to learn you are able to prevent the public from seeing your individual listening habits in case you so pick.
