Pedroia to the DL
Just days after going 5-for-5 with three home runs in a single game, it seems that Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia has a little bit of a busted foot. The Red Sox have placed him on the 15-day Mark Prior List (DL).
They are calling it a non-displaced fracture in his left foot. Doctors are still reviewing his CT scans and they won’t have a timetable for his return until Sunday morning or so.
Pedroia was injured in Friday night’s game and showed up to the ballpark Saturday with crutches. Some think he could be out a month or so. Bill Hall will take his place for now, but look for Boston to add another infielder.
