Colon to miss entire 2010 season
This isn’t good for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their offensive line essentially stinks and they can’t afford to lose anyone. Especially if it’s their best lineman.
Well, that’s what happened when Willie Colon went down with a busted Achilles. Now, Jason La Canfora tweets that he’ll undergo surgery on Wednesday to repair it and he’ll miss the entire year.
“Steelers LT Willie Colon expects to have season-ending surgery for an ACL tear on Wednesday. MRI results all but certain to confirm it,” La Canfora tweets, incorrectly calling it an ACL.
This is not only bad news for the Steelers, but also for Byron Leftwich and Ben Roethlisberger, who have to stand behind it. Rashard Mendenhall’s fantasy value takes a slight hit as well.
