Ducasse signs with Jets
The New York Jets have become the first team in the NFL to sign a second-round draft pick this summer. According to Adam Caplan of Scout.com, the Jets have roped in guard Vladimir Ducasse from UMass.
“Source: The Jets and second-round pick OL Vladimir Ducasse have agreed to a four-year deal worth $3.25 million….,” he tweets.
Following the release of Alan Faneca, Ducasse seems to have the inside track to start over Matt Slauson. As soon as draft day the Jets were talking about him coming in and starting immediately.
