Jeremy Trueblood gets beligerent with his mom
In one of the best stories of the summer, Tampa Bay Buccaneers right tackle Jeremy Trueblood spent a night in jail after suspician of public intoxication while being disorderly at a gas station with his mother driving the getaway car.
Yep, pretty much.
At around 10pm on Tuesday night, a gas station clerk complained to Greenfield Police Department about two men disrupting the business. Let me note that Trueblood is 27 years old.
“The gas station clerk called us and said two guys came into the store and were knocking stuff off the counters and almost knocked over a small lady with a child in her hand,” Maj. Derek Towell said.

After the two gentlemen were finished knocking over Slim Jims and York Peppermint Patties they jumped into a car driven by Wanda Trueblood, Jeremy’s mother. Wanda forgot to put on her seatbelt and was pulled over shortly after by Greenfield Police. While the officer was writing up a citation, Jeremy and his colleague Benjamin McKenny became beligerent and uncooperative leading to their arrest.
Both men spent the night in a Hancock County (Indiana) jail and were released Wednesday morning with no charges filed against them.
