After missing out on LeBron, Knicks may sign Felton
The New York Knicks were heartbroken as far as you know when they didn’t land the free agent they’d been preparing for two years to get. When LeBron James headed to the Miami Heat, the Knicks were left holding the bag.
But all might not be lost for this once-proud franchise. Despite missing out on King James, Knicks fans still have hope to build a championship contender. And now the news from Marcus J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports is that the team could make an offer to point guard Raymond Felton.
With a need for a PG, the Knicks could try to fill that role with Felton, who averaged 12.1 point and 5.6 assists in 80 starts with the Charlotte Bobcats last year.
If they are able to sign Felton, they would immediately compete with the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls in the east.
