Revis prepared for long hold out, or is the media just stupid?
This is annoying. Every year some NFL player says that they are prepared to hold out for as long as it takes in order to get a new deal. And every year, that player eventually caves when it comes to costing him paychecks and/or a year of accrued service.
So when we saw Manish Mehta’s piece in the New York Daily News on Jets CB Darrelle Revis, we thought we’d gag.
According to Mehta, sources say that Revis is prepared to dig in his heels if he doesn’t get a reworked contract. He says that Revis will holdout passed August 10th and risk losing the accrued year.
Umm….BS?
We’ll believe this when we see it. It sounds to us like Mehta’s source is Revis’ agent. Of course they want the Jets to think that he’ll be a no-show if he doesn’t get his new deal. We hear this same crap every year from different players and it rarely, rarely ever plays out.
Essentially just ignore this report.
I had been very pleased to notice this web page.I wished to thank you for that excellent piece I surely enjoying every single little bit of it and I bookmarked you to check out new stuff you post.

Hi, I’m a professional pianist and I’ve created a stupid rule that enables me to take a 15 min break every 1 hour of practicing. Now, every single break I have to do anything totally distinct, so mostly I go to Google and seek to the recommended last hour website. It is enjoyable to do anything distinct and to understand about new points every and every single day. BTW, now I’m playing. Chopin. Your web page is fantastic, I wish I could remain longer, but We’ve to have back to play… Following time I’ll occur to visit again.
