LeBron’s billboard coming down in Cleveland
We aren’t really surprised by this. According to the Associated Press, workers have begun dismantling the giant 10-story billboard of LeBron James that has been a fixture in Cleveland for years.
The billboard is an image of James opening up his arms to the sky after doing his signature powder toss clap thing that he does before games.
You may or may not have heard that LeBron James no longer plays basketball in the city of Cleveland. Yeah, he announced that he was going to the Miami Heat on Thursday night on VS. Network or something. And supposedly the people in Cleveland are a little tweaked about it.
Perhaps the most irritated is Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert. Not only did he send out a scathing (and probably misguided) email about what he thought of LeBron, but he also slashed prices on LeBron James life-sized cutouts. They are now $17.41, which is pretty clever since 1741 was the year Benedict Arnold was born.

This press conference/apology session merely exhibited Tiger’s clout over the media. He owes no one but his family his sincere apology. We the fans need to wait for his return to golf and make the game so much more exciting. It again proves that he’s as strong as ever in media sell. If nothing else, it’s a show to sponsors who so readily drop him that they’ve made a mistake. He’s done nothing wrong as a professional golfer and the game of golf.

These outlets have always been viable alternatives, but in the age of media mergers and corporate media monopolization such outlets have taken on even more importance. Internet and college radio have provided many of these artists a platform and the opportunity to level the playing field. The fact that Internet radio and college radio which is streaming can be picked up all over the world has helped open doors. But now the industry big wigs are looking at dwindling record sales and placing blame on The Internet and streaming

OMG, if you wanna go where drama belongs. Check this. When Tila Tequila entered middle school, she developed a “tomboy” attitude and got into a lot of fights. She eventually was sent to a boarding school for 6 months before transferring schools again. In high school, Tila started using her sister’s identification cards to get into nightclubs and bars where she began drug abuse and joined a gang. I kind of feel bad for the girl, but she does love the attention, let me tell you. It is no surprise that she is stuck in a sex tape controversey.
