Source: LeBron James leaning towards the Warriors
While we all sit anxiously awaiting the decision of LeBron James to see where he’s going to play next, we have actually come across some very good information. A source familiar with the real estate in East Cleveland tells OTR that LeBron is seriously leaning towards signing with the Golden State Warriors.
Perhaps the biggest free agent in the modern times of somewhat recent sports history, LeBron is taking forever to decide where he wants to play next. The Warriors are a dark horse candidate that haven’t been mentioned in the rumor mill, but our source tells us that LeBron is a big Oakland Raider fan and that if the Warriors can sweeten the pot with Raiders season tickets, it could sway him to go out to California.

However, our source made it extremely clear that the season tickets don’t even need to be good seats. LeBron just wants to watch the Raiders live. And speaking of the Raiders, our source points out that LeBron has been quiet about wanting to go to the Warriors because he didn’t want to have to share the city’s spotlight with JaMarcus Russell. That roadblock has since been removed.
The Warriors are well aware that LeBron is going to want a chance to win and that’s why they acquired David Lee from the New York Knicks the other day. Add in the fact that Stephen Curry is already there and you have a recipe for a Western Conference champion. The Warriors are hoping to form the LeeCurrBron trio and carve out a path to multiple championships.
