Beltran activated from 60-day DL
The New York Mets have activated CF Carlos Beltran from the 60-day DL. He is expected to face Tim Lincecum in the cleanup spot on Thursday night.
Beltran hasn’t played in a game since October 4th of last year. He will play with a brace on his knee and that will limit his range of motion.
It should also be noted that the Mets don’t know how many starts he will make each week. It seems like they will slowly work him back in. Good luck with that, especially if he shows some power. The Mets desperately need his bat in the lineup if they are going to make a serious push for the NL East crown.
I love what you guys are usually up too. Such clever work and reporting! Maintain up the great functions guys I’ve added you men to my blogroll, Cheers.
