Giants waive Hixon
Domenik Hixon has been a pretty productive player for the New York Giants both as a return man and as a WR. But, he recently shredded his ACL and many think that it was due to the new turf at the new Giants Stadium.
With Hixon already out for the entire season, the Giants don’t feel like he’s any use to them. Due to hit free agency after this year, the team has waived him.
It’s likely that Hixon will land on the Giants injured reserve list. Any team that would want to pick him up would have to pay his $1.7 million salary only for him to sit out the year. Wouldn’t make any sense.
Hixon’s injury is just yet another reason why Sinorice Moss will somehow still be employed.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
