Rams interested in T.O.?

Sources tell Chris Mortensen of ESPN that the St. Louis Rams have ramped up internal discussions regarding the possibility of landing free agent WR Terrell Owens. This would mean that Steve Spagnuolo and Pat Shurmur either weren’t annoyed by Owens when he was in Philadelphia, or it was long enough ago that they don’t remember how painful it was.
Or, it could just be that once again Mortensen is wrong. Happens all the time and no one ever criticizes him for it.
Supposedly, Owens is looking for $5 million in 2010. He also said that he’s interested in joining a contender. Unless he’s talking about contending for the No. 1-overall pick in the NFL Draft each year, then the Rams won’t be what he’s looking for.
