Yankees trying to trade Chan Ho Park?
Last season, the Philadelphia Phillies had Chan Ho Park in their starting rotation to start the season. Most everyone knew this was a bad idea.
However, when they sent him to the bullpen, he flourished. He was an important reliever on a team that went to the World Series. Then, the New York Yankees signed him to a one-year $1.2 million deal in the offseason. He..um…hasn’t been as good for them.

Now, according to ESPN’s Jayson Stark, the Yankees are trying to move him.
“Here’s a big name to add to your distinguished list of available relievers: #Yankees trying to unload Chan Ho (7 HR in 32.1 IP) Park #trades,” Stark tweets.
If I’m a Phillies fan (and I am), I’ll take Park back. He was phenomenal out of the bullpen last year, and I’d take the chance that he could help again this year. Danys Baez and David Herndon are garbage. Chan Ho could possibly help out a terrible bully.
The 37-year old Park has already been on the DL this year (with diarrhea?) and has a wonderfully efficient 5.57 ERA.
What could the Yanks possibly be asking in return? You like Tastycakes? Free passes to the Philadelphia Zoo? Timmy Kelly singing you “Happy Birthday” at your next birthday bash? What do you want? Just say it.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
