Smoak optioned to Triple-A Tacoma

The Seattle Mariners have optioned 1B Justin Smoak to Triple-A Tacoma after he hit .163 with two home runs and five RBI’s for the club. Smoak was the prize of the Cliff Lee deal, but has been a bust as a rookie this year. He’s hit just .198 on the season.
So far for the Mariners, Smoak has just seemed overmatched at the plate.
This comes amidst a flurry of roster moves for the M’s. They also sent Milton Bradley to the DL. In addition, they called up Sean White and Matt Tuiasosopo.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has far more pizzazz, and some awesome features such as ‘Mixview’ that let you swiftly see associated collections, songs, or other users related to what you are playing. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and an additional set of “friends” will come into view, permitting you to navigate around exploring by the same performers, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find other people with shared likes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist produced based on an combinations of what all your friends are listening to, which can be enjoyable. Those worried with privacy are going to be relieved to find out you can stop the public from seeing your individual listening routines should you so pick.
