Andre Johnson gets paid

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is most likely the best receiver in the entire NFL, and hence, the entire world. He’s huge, he’s fast, he uses his body brilliantly (especially on the dance floor) and he has great hands.
Well now, he’ll be paid like the uber elite WR that he is. The Texans gave him a two-year, $38.5 million extension on his old five-year contract. His average salary is now up to $10.5 million.
Not too bad.
“This will make him a Texan for life,” GM Rick Smith said.
When his contract is up, Johnson will be 35-years old, so that’s probably a fair assessment. Unless he’s got longevity on his list of superlatives as well, which is entirely possible.
He definitely deserves it. I don´t see how any other receiver would have more value than Andre Johnson.
