Fargas joins the Broncos
The Denver Broncos have been known in the past to carry 27 backs at a time and rotate them. Usually, this irritates the hell out of fantasy football owners and rightfully so. This year, they are getting a crowded backfield because everyone has been so hurt.
And because of these injuries, the team has signed long-time Oakland Raider Justin Fargas. Fargas was usually productive when he saw game action and averaged 4.1 yards per carry over his eight-year career.
Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter have been battling injuries, so the Broncos needed to add some depth. Brian Westbrook could be getting a call soon too, although it might be saying a lot about Westbrook’s health that the team took Fargas over him. Fargas has been in the habit of failing physicals this offseason, so he’s hardly a model of health and fitness.
Well at least they have someone to run the ball now.
