Holt to injured reserve
As it was, Torry Holt was going to have a very difficult time making the New England Patriots roster this year. At 34-years old, he just can’t separate from defenders like he used to. In addition to that, he was being outplayed in training camp by guys like Brandon Tate and Taylor Price.
Despite not disclosing any injury, the Patriots have placed him on injured reserve, ending his season.
It could also mean the end of his career. He just doesn’t have much left in the tank at this point and we think this could be a respectful way of the Pats telling him that he can’t do it anymore.
We’ll see if he shows up on another roster. He made seven Pro Bowls with the St. Louis Rams but, sadly, those were many, many years ago.
What a shame, was looking forward to seeing him this year.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I a lot choose the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has a lot more flair, and some cool functions like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users connected to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one particular of individuals will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will appear into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can also be good enjoyable, letting you locate others with shared tastes and becoming good friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist developed based on an amalgamation of what all your close friends are listening to, which can also be enjoyable. Individuals concerned with privacy will probably be relieved to learn you are able to avoid the public from seeing your personal listening habits should you so decide on.
