Tate done for the season
The Houston Texans drafted Ben Tate in the second round of this year’s draft just in case Arian Foster couldn’t keep it going and Steve Slaton couldn’t figure out how to hold onto the football.
That plan will have to be on hold for a year because it looks like Tate is done for the year with a broken ankle that he suffered in the third quarter of Saturday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Tate was dragged down and couldn’t get back up without help.
This puts the pressure on Foster and Slaton. Foster looked good last night with 31 yards on four carries. Slaton, however, fumbled….again.
In fantasy leagues, Foster is the guy to grab, but you might want to add Slaton late in the draft just to be sure.
