Haslem’s lawyer doesn’t think marijuana charges will stick
During a weekend traffic stop, police officers found more than 20 grams of marijuana in the car of Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem. The police arrested Haslem Sunday afternoon on charges that he – you guessed it – possessed more than 20 grams of marijuana. He also racked up four counts of possessing drug paraphernalia.
However, because a passenger in Haslem’s car is claiming that it was his pot (he probably made that real clear when he smoked everyone up too), Haslem’s attorney, Eric Schwartzreich, thinks that this will all blow over for Haslem.

“We are confident Udonis Haslem will be vindicated,” Schwartzreich said. “We have a situation where the passenger admits the marijuana was his and Mr. Haslem tells police nothing was in the vehicle. I think the police report speaks for itself. I am hopeful that Udonis Haslem will not be charged.”
So how is Udonis dealing with all this?
“He’s a little rattled,” Schwartzreich said. “He’s upset. He doesn’t know how he can be charged with this.”
