The top teams on ‘Melo’s wish list seem to be the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic. But now, multiple league sources tell Chris Mannix of SI.com that Anthony would sign a long-term deal with the Houston Rockets or the New Jersey Nets if they put a package together to trade for him.
The chances of any team making a trade for Anthony without knowing beforehand that they could sign him long-term are slim. Especially considering the king’s ransom that the Nuggets will want for him.
