Wroten reinstated
While perusing our OTR Twitter feed, we saw a tweet from Fox 31′s Josina Anderson out in Denver. She says in broken English that the NFL has reinstated DT Claude Wroten following his one-year suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
“Fox 31 ALERT: Breaking News: Agent Richard Burnoski tell me Commissioner Roger Goodell reinstates DT Claude Wroten after 1-year suspension,” she tweets.
Wroten was suspended back in August of 2008, but it could have been extended several times. Since he was pretty much wasting oxygen in St. Louis before he got suspended, no one really bothered to keep tabs on it.
Wroten was a third-round pick of the Rams in 2006 and no one really cares. We fully expect his agent’s phone to be ringing off the hook with teams saying that they have no interest.
