Stan Kroenke gets approval to become Rams majority owner
If you don’t know who Stan Kroenke is, get to know him. He currently owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids (at first we thought this was a professional white water rafting team, but it appears to be a soccer team), Colorado Avalanche, Arsenal (English football club), and is now majority owner of the St Louis Rams. Oh, and he’s married to Anne Walton, a Wal-Mart heir.

On Wednesday or at some point this week, NFL owners unanimously approved Kroenke’s bid to purchase the remaining 60 percent of the St Louis Rams, in addition to the 40 percent he already owned. Unfortunately, this means there is zero percent left for Rush Limbaugh to bid on.
As part of the approval, Kroenke is expected to be forced to sell the Nuggets and Avalanche, but most likely will keep the teams within the family, selling them to his son.
Kroenke has promised all along to keep the team in St. Louis, so Rams fans can enjoy two to four NFL wins per calender year.
