Breaking news, but not really: Matt Leinart sucks, will be cut
NFL Network’s Mike Lombardi is reporting that there is a real chance Matt Leinart will be released by the Arizona Cardinals during final cuts. I’m not lying, seriously.

I mean, what can you say, but wow. This means two rookies are going to beat him out for a roster spot.

Matt Leinart’s career NFL numbers are absolutely horrible. He’s only completed 57.1% of his passes during garbage time with 20 of his passes being intercepted, only 14 have been caught for touchdowns. His 70.8 quarterback rating is good for 1,825 all-time.
