Evans and others get suspensions
Reigning Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans will not be on the floor opening night for the Sacramento Kings. The NBA has suspended him for one game following a reckless driving incident this summer.
As Perry pointed out back in February, you can make the case that he shouldn’t even be amongst the free citizens of the United States based on his role in driving a getaway car after his cousin shot Marcus Reasons.

In addition to Evans, Brandon Rush of the Indiana Pacers got slapped with a five-game suspension. He violated the NBA’s drug policy for the third time, which you have to do to trigger a suspension. The first two failed tests lead to counseling. That’s some drug program the NBA has!
And the league wasn’t done there, they suspended Kenny Hasbrouck of the Miami Heat for pleading guilty to a DUI charge.
Great work by all three of you!
