DeSean will be fine, will still return punts this year
What do you do when you have a guy that is so good that he just has to be on the field as much as possible despite the fact that he’s tiny? Apparently, you don’t worry about injury, you just keep sending him out there.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles WR DeSean Jackson will still be the team’s punt returner this year, despite the fact that he’ll risk getting hurt and absolutely ruining the offense.
“Reid: DeSean will be his punt returner this year,” McLane tweets.
Andy also noted that Jackson’s back/neck injury thing isn’t serious and that he’ll be fine. So draft him without worries.
That is, unless you are worried about him getting hurt on punt returns.
