Redskins and Titans talking trade regarding Haynesworth?
The Washington Redskins are clearly not happy with their decision to sign Albert Haynesworth to a buttload of money in the 2009 offseason. Like many things the Redskins do, it was just stupid.
And we all know by now all the BS that has been going on between Haynesworth and Shanahan. Well, that could all be coming to an end, as ESPN‘s Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Redskins are engaged in trade talks with the Tennessee Titans.
“Filed to ESPN: Redskins talk trade with the Titans again about Albert Haynesworth. No deal yet,” Mort tweets.
The Titans would be the perfect trade partner. They already know Haynesworth and what he’s all about. No surprises. And the Redskins have already payed that massive $20+ million roster bonus this year, so they’ll foot the majority of the bill.
Regardless, the Redskins need to do something. Either stop breaking his balls and let him play, or get rid of him. This ongoing punishment crap is just stupid for everyone involved.
