Gailey confirms Spiller will start

There has been a lot of speculation about the Buffalo Bills running back situation. Marshawn Lynch was a first-round pick in 2007 and was good, but has since gotten into trouble and fallen out of favor. Fred Jackson has performed well, but he’s got a busted hand and really doesn’t have a ton of upside.

Enter C.J. Spiller. He is a first-round pick this year and has a ton of explosion. And now, head coach Chan Gailey says he’s the starter for Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins, according to NBC 2 WGRZ.

Many fantasy footballers weren’t sure what to make of the Bills running backs and for good reason. It’s kind of a mess back there. But, it looks like Spiller is their guy. If he goes in and does what he is supposed to, then Jackson and Lynch won’t see much playing time.
