Bradshaw’s fantasy stock rising?
We admit we don’t love the New York Giants RB situation. It was fine when Brandon Jacobs was the starter because you knew that even though he’d come off the field on third downs, he’d still get goal-line carries.
Now that Ahmad Bradshaw is the guy, we worry the fantasy points will be divided. Bradshaw will get the bulk of the work, but the bigger Jacobs will be used in short-yardage.
But, ESPNNewYork.com’s Ohm Youngmisuk knows the Giants very well and he’s getting high on Bradshaw.
“He’s the starter and will get the most touches and catches out of the backfield,” he writes. “The thinking should be with more touches, more chances to break off a huge run. Bradshaw says he feels “10 times better” than last season after surgery repaired both his feet and an ankle.”
This is all good news for Bradshaw, especially in PPR leagues. It’s possible that early success by the little guy could make us all forget about Jacobs.
