Beltran dealing with tendinitis?
The New York Mets just cannot catch a break. They are out of any kind of playoff race, just lost pitcher Johan Santana for the season, and now have one of their best hitters dealing with knee soreness.
Andy Martino of the New York Daily News says that Carlos Beltran is dealing with tendinitis in his non-surgically repaired knee.
“That’s not the knee Beltran had surgery on. Manuel thinks Beltran has favored the left knee, leading to tendinitis,” Martino tweets.
It’s not known just how long it will keep him out, but it doesn’t seem too bad. He’s hitting .333 over the last 10 games and could finally be getting back to form.
